Across the globe, electronic patient record (EPR) adoption is riding a technology wave, leveraging software to improve individual patient care and better manage population health. As vendors step across national boundaries looking for opportunities, where are they leaving their footprints? Many EPR vendors have been successfully selling in their home markets, but which EPR vendors are scaling their products beyond their countries of origin? While it would be beyond the scope of this study to provide detail on every country’s EPR opportunities, the purpose of this research was to assess the validity of vendor-claimed market presence and map where multinational EPR vendors are finding success.
