This comprehensive report focuses on IT Outsourcing Firms that are used by healthcare providers to run and maintain their IT operations.
For this study KLAS interviewed providers from acute care facilities who are either currently outsourcing IT or have discontinued IT outsourcing. This report includes information gained from these interviews and includes insights regarding the key drivers that led them to outsource, their perceived value of outsourcing, challenges associated with outsourcing and the outsourcer's performance.
Outsourcing firms included in the main body of the report are: ACS (Superior), CareTech, Eclipsys, First Consulting, McKesson, Perot Systems, and Siemens. Performance data is included in the addendum on CSC and PHNS. Vendor overviews are also included on firms that provide IT outsourcing to the healthcare provider industry.
