Get Validated in the KLAS Vendor Directory
Not Validated?
If your product does not appear in KLAS ratings (meaning KLAS has data on fewer than 6 of your sites), the product will be listed in the directory as "not validated".
This means no live sites have been confirmed by KLAS.
If you don’t have enough live sites to be rated yet, you can have KLAS verify and confirm your product’s live sites. This is called “validation”.
(If you do have enough sites to be rated, you should get rated.)
How is validation done?
- KLAS creates a validation survey, covering topics such as the product’s feature set, how long it has been live and other questions to verify the product is categorized correctly and is live.
- KLAS then contacts the vendor’s live sites and interviews executives at the site.
Validations are pursued as providers express interest in a given product and as KLAS has the resources available to follow up.
Can I request expedited validation?
Yes. Expedited validation is done at the request of the vendor as a fee-based service.
To have your product validated, email a KLAS Research Director.
How long will it take to get validated?
KLAS cannot give an estimate that is applicable to all situations. Generally, the timeframe ranges from two to four months.
